Pet Projects: Dog Wagons, Ramps, Decks and More!
When fido still wants to get out for a walk, but his little legs can't quite keep up, a wagon might be in order. We built a little green trolley for our beloved Tivi, and he loved going for rides in it! We constructed it to be portable yet sturdy, and with twinkling lights for nighttime rides. Above is the original wagon we built for Tivi, as well as our latest creation: the Jumbo Wagon. We built this larger wagon for the bigger dog in your life (it's not easy finding a wagon that can accommodate the extra large breeds like Great Danes and Mastiffs! So our Jumbo wagon is built around the Big Barker dog bed, and can comfortably tug your big pooch around). Perhaps your dog isn't fond of wheels but still needs some assistance getting around the house? We can build ramps, steps, or whatever you think your pooch might need to make life a bit easier; above is a deck we built for a couple of older pups who needed more of a landing area outside of their doggy door, complete with a ramp to make the transition to the yard a little softer on their joints (Also shown is one of our standard doggy ramps, minus the attached deck/platform). Or if you just need a dog or cat door installed, we can do that too (we can even add an attached ramp like the one above). Give us a call and we can discuss the options for you and your fur-baby.
Kitty Cubby Window Bench
Our client had a creative idea to tie in a window bench with cat accessibility. So we got to work and created this unique built-in bench, complete with cubby holes and pass-through dividers giving the kitties the ability to walk through the entire underneath of the bench.
Critter Gate (for Ferrets and Dogs!)
We designed and built this gate for our client who wanted something specifically for her menagerie of animals (Ferrets, Dogs, and Cats!). We included a removable plexiglass panel to keep the little ferrets from being able to climb the gate (while still allowing them to see through it), and designed the gate to open flush with the wall, giving it a slim profile and keeping it out of the way when not in use.
Catified Deck Railing
This project was commissioned by our client who wanted to be able to enjoy coffee on her deck with her kitty, Maggie . The goal was not to fully cat-proof her balcony, as she only intends to let Maggie out when she is with her, but rather to prevent Maggie from jumping through the existing iron hand-rail. She also wanted an additional gate door added to the balcony entrance, and panels that she could easily remove. So we created these removable lightweight panels, designed to be aesthetically pleasing and with minimal visual impact.
We utilized beautiful cedar to create this unique bird-feeder station for a client who wanted something aesthetically pleasing to hang her bird feeders on.
We built this custom kitchen island to match the existing look of this farmhouse kitchen. The countertop is functional while simplistically beautiful, and the design elements on the base of the island maintain the original feel of this quaint culinary corner.
Cedar is a favorite material of ours. It's rich yet light color can transform the look of most anything. These two projects included a custom fireplace mantle that went from dark and drab to modern and eye-catching with just a few panels of cedar. For our bathroom project we added warmth to this quaint bathroom with a cedar ceiling, highlighted by small track lights.
Custom Exterior Light Shades
Say goodbye to boring store-bought light fixtures, we can make you exactly what you want. Our custom lights, which illuminate above and below, provide a beautiful glow around the fixture.
Custom Cedar Pergola
Our client wanted to add shade and privacy to their back deck, while maintaining the modern look of their patio area. We utilized cedar and a clean, crisp design to bring that idea to life.
